Happy Black Saturday!

This is the Saturday when they thought nothing happened.

Resurrection hadn’t occurred.

No one had come out of the grave.

The future looked bleak.

The promise seemed barren.

But God was not silent.

Jesus was not dead.

He was taking back what we gave away.

That is the power of the resurrection. Not only that he defeated death, but that he defeated our death and then through God’s Holy Spirit gave access to divine power on earth.

We don’t serve a powerless God and we are not a powerless people. The Kingdom of God is at hand!
